Michelle is a Vice President and Relationship Manager for Washington Trust Bank’s Wealth Management and Advisory Services department in Portland, OR. 

Prior to Washington Trust Bank, Michelle worked in a Sales and Advisory role with Northwest Investment Counselors, LLC in Lake Oswego, Oregon. She was also a Vice President and Private Banking Officer with Pacific Northwest Bank of Oregon and its predecessor, Bank of the Northwest.  Prior to Pacific Northwest Bank/Bank of the Northwest, Michelle managed the Sales, Marketing and Investor Relations responsibilities for Northern Bank of Commerce.  Michelle entered the banking industry in 1986 working in a variety of Sales and Management positions for U.S. Bank.

Michelle earned her Bachelor of Arts in Rhetoric and Communications with an emphasis in Economics from the University of Oregon.  She also holds a NASD Series 65 license.

Michelle’s community involvement is extensive, and includes serving on the Boards of the Sister’s of St. Mary of Oregon Foundation, the Oregon Children’s Theatre, and the NW Business for Culture and Arts.  She’s also a member of the Portland Allied Professional Partnership Steering Committee – Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, a member of the Japanese Garden Society of Oregon Planned Giving Committee and a Trust Committee Member for the Oregon Bankers Association.  Michelle also volunteers at the St. Mary of the Valley Grade School, Valley Catholic Middle School and St. Pius X Catholic Church.
