Michelle Garcia is Vice President and Relationship Manager for Washington Trust Bank’s Wealth Management and Advisory Services department in Portland, OR.
Prior to Washington Trust Bank, Michelle worked in a Sales and Advisory role with Northwest Investment Counselors, LLC in Lake Oswego, Oregon.
Michelle was formerly a Vice President and Private Banking Officer with Pacific Northwest Bank of Oregon and its predecessor, Bank of the Northwest from July 2000 to September 2003. Pacific Northwest Bank was sold to Wells Fargo Bank during the last quarter of 2003.
Prior to Pacific Northwest Bank/Bank of the Northwest, Michelle managed the Sales, Marketing and Investor Relations responsibilities for Northern Bank of Commerce from 1996 to 2000.
Michelle entered the banking industry in 1986 working in a variety of Sales and Management positions for U.S. Bank until 1996.
Michelle earned her Bachelor of Arts in Rhetoric and Communications with an emphasis in Economics from the University of Oregon. She also holds a NASD Series 65 license.
