Here are a few helpful tips as you prepare for WTB Online.


Why does the web address not look like it’s after I log in to WTB Online?

After logging in, you will see the web address for our online banking partner Jack Henry & Associates (NetTeller). While the web address does not say Washington Trust, it is our safe and secure online banking site address.


What internet browser should I use to access WTB Online?

WTB Online is accessible from a number of browsers, including Internet Explorer, Chrome, Safari and Firefox. Supported browser versions include Internet Explorer versions 9 through 11, as well as the 2 most current versions of Chrome, Safari and Firefox.

Mobile Banking

Do I need to download an app to use WTB Mobile?

Yes. WTB Mobile, our mobile banking app, is available for Apple and Android devices.

How do I change the timeframe of my transaction history in WTB Mobile?

Your transaction history timeframe is controlled in WTB Online, our desktop version. The default setting for transactions is seven (7) days, but can be set to 15 days, 30 days, or All. Choosing to view “All” transactions may severely slow download speed in WTB Mobile.

Can I deposit checks using my mobile device?

Can I pay a person in WTB Online?

Yes! WTB Online now lets you send money directly to another person safely and securely.

Do I need to know the person's account information to send them money?

No. With Pay an Individual in the WTB Online Bill Pay system, and P2P in WTB Mobile, you can send the individual a secure email where they can securely log in and enter their account information. WTB Online stores the account information without ever sharing it with you or another party.

eStatements, Statements & Notices

What is an eStatement?

An eStatement is an electronic version of your Washington Trust monthly statement.

How do I access my eStatements?

If you are currently signed up to receive your statement electronically, you will see a dedicated eStatements tab in the main navigation of WTB Online.

Can I view statements for loans in the eStatements tab?

No. EStatements are only available for deposit accounts, and are NOT available online for loan statements at this time.

Can I add additional users to receive my electronic statement?

Yes. To add additional users, go to the Stmt/Notices tab in WTB Online, and click on Additional Recipients. Enter the required information and click Save.


What type of alerts can I receive?

With WTB Online, you can sign up to receive a number of account alerts. These include alerts when an account balance reaches a certain amount, when a check clears, when you update personal or security information, and many more.

How can I receive alerts?

You can sign up to receive alerts through your email, via text message, and through the message center in WTB Online.
