Vice President & Chief Investment Strategist
Rick is a Vice President and Chief Investment Strategist for Washington Trust Bank’s Wealth Management & Advisory Services. He is responsible for the analysis, selection and implementation of asset allocation strategies.
Rick designs integrated asset allocation solutions by developing custom investment strategies to meet client risk/reward goals. He works closely with clients to design, implement and monitor investment and risk management strategies. He has more than 20 years of portfolio management and institutional investment experience.
Prior to joining Washington Trust Bank, Rick served as the Director of Research and Portfolio Manager at Heritage Capital in Boston, where he managed equity, fixed income, and alternative investments research. In addition, Rick was responsible for developing diversified portfolios for foundations, pensions, charities, and high-net-worth individuals and their families. Before Heritage, Rick was the Director of Research at Wingate Financial. There, he led the research efforts and developed equity, fixed income, and mutual fund portfolio strategies.
