Spokane, Wash. – Washington Trust Bank, the largest privately held full-service commercial bank in the Northwest, joins local community leaders to assist those impacted by the Spokane Complex Fire. The Wildfire Emergency Response Fund, created by the Innovia Foundation and supported by Washington Trust and local news station KHQ, will support nonprofit organizations, businesses and community organizations working to meet the needs of those affected by the Spokane Complex wildfires in the region.

Washington Trust supports the effort with an initial donation of $50,000 and team members will staff the phone lines at the KHQ call center beginning this afternoon.

"We are deeply concerned for everyone who has been impacted by the Spokane Complex fires," said Jack Heath, Chief Executive Officer of Washington Trust Bank. "Spokane is our home, and we believe it’s our responsibility to stand together and support one another. We are humbled to join KHQ, the Innovia Foundation, and the community in this effort."

The KHQ Connect Center can be reached at (509) 443-1111.

Contributions processed over the phone are routed directly to the Innovia Foundation’s Wildfire Emergency Response Fund to provide immediate on-the-ground relief. Online donations are also accepted at Innovia.org, and cash or check contributions can be made in person at any Washington Trust branch location.
